Inspired by the paintings of Auguste Herbin, the bold colours of these hand-painted geometric shapes pop against the dark walls and add a uniquely playful feel to this bedroom.

With this room I was really able to unleash my creativity. The painted shapes have become somewhat of a signature of mine, featuring not only in my interiors, but across my homewares collection too; and this is where it all started!

The high ceilings and South-facing aspect allowed me to choose a really dark base colour on the walls and this dramatically lush dark green brings together the velvet bed headboard and the foliage of the numerous plants in the room. Black and white textiles and accessories add to the visual impact of the space and provide continuity with the other rooms in the home.
