Sandringham Road

Property: 3 bed Edwardian family home / Location: Wood Green, London

This project called for my usual vibrant colour palette to be softened to suit the client's aesthetic. However, graphical elements such as the circle motif fireplace tiles and a range of my handmade cement homewares added depth to the design and a bold, playful twist.

During the renovation of this house, which hadn't been updated since the 1970s, the original floorboards and internal doors were stripped and sanded and an Edwardian fireplace, almost identical to the original that would've been in place was sourced to create a beautiful focal point in the living room.

I designed bespoke cabinetry for the recessed areas and a long, upholstered storage bench, which doubled as a window seat to add much-needed seating for family gatherings. The design was completed with my signature geometric shape murals behind the sofa and on the chimney breast and ceiling.
